Itifaq Service ("we", "the platform") is an intermediary platform connecting customers in Qatar with independent, approved home-service companies (AC, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, and more). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our app or website.

What data do we collect?

• Full name, phone number, and email when creating an account.
• Service address (and optionally GPS location, if you choose to share it) when submitting a booking request.
• Chat content between you and the company within the app (text, images, voice messages) to facilitate service coordination.
• Basic technical usage data (device type, browser version) for performance and troubleshooting purposes.

How do we use your data?

• To match you with the right company and complete your booking.
• To send notifications related to your order status (confirmation, price update, completion).
• To contact you when needed via email or WhatsApp regarding support.
• To improve platform quality and resolve complaints or disputes between parties.

Is your data shared with third parties?

We do not sell or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes. Only essential contact details (name, phone, address) are shared with the specific company you book with, solely to carry out the requested service.

Data security

All passwords are hashed in our database and cannot be viewed as plain text by any staff member or third party. We use secure connections (HTTPS) and apply protections against unauthorized access attempts.

Device permissions (Android app)

• Location (GPS): Used only when you explicitly tap "Detect my location" to help fill your service address; never collected in the background.
• Camera/Photo gallery: Used only when you choose to attach an image in a chat with a company.
• Microphone: Used only when you tap the voice-recording button within a chat.

Account & data deletion

You can request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data at any time via the "Account" section in your profile page, or by contacting our support team directly via WhatsApp.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. You will be notified of any material changes via the app or your registered email.
